yasya caiva gṛhe mūrkho dūre cāpi guṇānvitaḥ .
guṇānvitāya dātavyaṃ nāsti murkhe vyatikramaḥ .. 4.33 ..
Even if there is a fool in one's house and a virtuous man far away,
it should be given to the virtuous man; there is no transgression regarding a fool.
