gaṅgāyāṃ maraṇaṃ caiva dṛḍhā bhaktiśca keśave
brahmavidyāprabodhaśca nālpasya tapasaḥ phalam
Death at the Gaṅgā, firm devotion to Keśava, / and awakening to the knowledge of Brahman are not the fruit of petty austerity.
