yacca dhyātvā dvijaśreṣṭha puruṣo mutyumāgataḥ
parampadamavāpnoti tanme vada mahāmuneḥ

and meditating on what, O best of the twice-born, does a man, when death has arrived, / attain the supreme abode? Tell me that, O great sage!
