cāṇūro nihato raṅge sa me viṣṇuḥ prasīdatu
śaṅkhaḥ karavare yasya sa me viṣṇuḥ prasīdatu

Cāṇūra, was slain in the arena—may that Viṣṇu be gracious to me! / In whose excellent hand is the conch—may that Viṣṇu be gracious to me!
