ṛkśākhoktena vidhinā yoge tu vilomataḥ
vinā prayogajāpye tu anuloma na vidyate
According to the rule stated in the branch of the Ṛgveda, but in yoga in reverse order;
without an applicative recitation, however, the direct order does not exist.

iti viśvāmitrasmṛtau nānāprayogavidhānaṃ nāma ṣaṣṭho'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the sixth chapter, entitled "The Injunction on Various Ritual Applications," in the Viśvāmitrasmṛti.
