ṣaḍbhirādyairhunedannaṃ iti kauṣātakismṛtaḥ
tasmāddhunedvidhānena vaiśvadevaṃ śrutīritam
'He should offer food with the first six [mantras]'—so teaches the Kauṣātaki. / Therefore, one should offer the universal offering rite declared in the Veda according to rule.
