abhyukṣyānnaṃ namaskārairbhuvi dadyādvalitrayam
bhūpataye bhuvaḥ pataye bhūtānāṃ pataye tathā
Having sprinkled the food with water, he should offer three food offerings on the ground with reverent bows: / to the Lord of the earth (bhūpati), to the Lord of the atmosphere (bhuvaspati), and likewise to the Lord of beings (bhūtapati).
