snānamabdaivataiḥ kuryāt pāvanaiścāpi mārjjanam
mantraiḥ prāṇāṃstrirāyamya sauraiścārkaṃ vilokayet
He should perform the bath with mantras addressed to the waters, and also the wiping with purifying [mantras]; / having restrained his breaths three times with mantras, he should look upon the sun with solar mantras.
