grāmasthānaṃ yathā śūnyaṃ yathā kūpaśca nirjalaḥ
yaśca vipro'nadhīyānastrayaste nāmadhārakāḥ
As an abandoned village site, as a well without water, / and as a brahmin who does not study—these three bear only the name.
