mīmāṃste ca yo vedān ṣadbhiraṅgaiḥ savistaraiḥ
itihāsapurāṇāni sa bhavedvedapāragaḥ
And he who investigates the Vedas with the six auxiliary limbs in detail, / and the epics and Purāṇas—he is one who has mastered the Veda.
