pratiśrayaṃ pādaśaucaṃ brāhmaṇānāñca tarpaṇam
na pāpaṃ saṃspṛśettasya baliṃ bhikṣāṃ dadāti yaḥ
He who gives shelter, washing of feet, and satiation to brahmins, / and who gives food offerings and alms—sin does not touch him.
