agre māhiṣikaṃ dṛṣṭvā madhye tu vṛṣalīpatim /
ante vārdhuṣikaṃ dṛṣṭvā nirāśāḥ pitaro gatāḥ //
Seeing a cuckold in front, the husband of a vṛṣalī in the middle, / and a usurer at the end, the ancestors depart hopeless.
