jalakrīḍāruci śubhaṃ kalpādhiṣu yathā purā
vārāham āsthito rūpam ujjahāra vasuṃdharām //

Assumed the shape of a boar, delighting to sport in water, as at the beginning of each former Kalpa, and raised up the earth (from the water).
