vyavahārābhiśato 'yaṃ mānuṣas tvayi majjati
tad enaṃ saṃśayād asmād dharmatas trātum arhasi //
'This man being arraigned in a cause, desires to be cleared from guilt. Therefore mayest thou deliver him, lawfully from this perplexity.'
