Vaiṣṇava Dharmaśāstra 19.13

yāvad āśaucaṃ tāvat pretasyodakaṃ piṇḍam ekaṃ ca dadyuḥ ||
While the term of impurity lasts, they must continually offer a libation of water and a ball of rice to the deceased.
