caturdaśa vinaśyanti kalpe kalpe sureśvarāḥ
sarvalokapradhānāś ca manavaś ca caturdaśa //

In each Kalpa, fourteen chiefs of the gods (Indras) go to destruction, as many rulers of the world (kings), and fourteen Manus.
