rājarṣayaś ca bahavaḥ sarvaiḥ samuditā guṇaiḥ
devā brahmarṣayaś caiva kālena nidhanaṃ gatāḥ //

'Many royal Rishis too (such as Sagara), all of them renowned for their virtues, gods and Brahmanical Rishis (such as Kasyapas) have perished by the action of Kâla.
