hīnavarṇānām adhikavarṇeṣu sapiṇḍeṣu tadaśaucavyapagame śuddhiḥ ||

If Sapindas of a higher caste (are born or have died) the period of impurity has for their lower caste relations the same duration as for members of the higher caste.
