eṣa śaucasya te proktaḥ śārīrasya vinirṇayaḥ
nānāvidhānāṃ dravyāṇāṃ śuddheḥ śṛṇu vinirṇayam //

Thus the directions for purifying animate bodies have been declared to thee; hear now the rules for cleaning all sorts of inanimate objects.
