eteṣv akṛtaprāyaścittā atipātakinaḥ paryāyeṇa kalpaṃ pacyante ||

In each of those (hells) successively criminals in the highest degree, who have not performed the penance (prescribed for their crime), are tormented for the time of a Kalpa.
