Vaiṣṇava Dharmaśāstra 54.31

enasvibhir nirṇiktair nārthaṃ kiṃcit samācaret
kṛtanirṇejanāṃś caitān na jugupseta dharmavit //
With sinners, who have not expiated their crime, let a man not transact business of any kind. But a man who knows the law must not blame (or shun) those who have expiated it.
