Vaiṣṇava Dharmaśāstra 59.18

kaṇḍanī peṣaṇī cullī udakumbha upaskara iti pañca sūnā gṛhasthasya ||
If there is food in the house, he must not reject a mendicant, (who arrives) after he has taken his meal himself.
