pitari jīvati yaḥ śrāddhaṃ kuryāt, sa yeṣāṃ pitā kuryāt teṣāṃ kuryāt ||

He who makes a Srâddha-offering while his father is alive, must offer it to those persons to whom his father offers (his Srâddhas).
