etāṃs tu śrāddhakālān vai kāmyān āha prajāpatiḥ
śrāddham eteṣu yad dattaṃ tad ānantyāya kalpate //
These occasions for a Srâddha the lord of creatures has pronounced optional; a Srâddha which is performed on these occasions gives infinite satisfaction (to the manes).
