brāhmaṇāpaśadā hy ete kathitāḥ paṅktidūṣakāḥ
etān vivarjayed yatnāc chrāddhakarmaṇi paṇḍitaḥ //
All those persons are said to defile a company, because they have been expelled from the community of Brâhmanas. Let a wise man avoid carefully, therefore, to entertain them at a Srâddha.
