māghī maghāyutā cet, tasyāṃ tilaiḥ śrāddhaṃ kṛtvā pūto bhavati ||

If on the full moon day in the month Mâgha the moon enters the lunar asterism Maghâ and he performs a Srâddha with sesamum on that day, he is purified.
