caitrī citrāyutā cet, tasyāṃ citravastrapradānena saubhāgyam āpnoti ||

If on the full moon day of the month Kaitra the moon enters the lunar asterism Kitrâ, and he gives a variegated (kitra) garment (to a Brâhmana) on that day, he obtains good fortune.
