mātāmahānām apy evaṃ dadyād ācamanaṃ tataḥ |
svastivācyaṃ tataḥ kuryād akṣayyodakam eva ca ||
In the same manner, he should also perform for the maternal grandfathers; then he should give water for sipping; / Then he should have the benediction uttered, and likewise give water for imperishability.
