vinā kāreṇa mātāpitṛgurūn yas tyajati sa mātāpitṛgurutyāgī | evaṃ bhāryāputratyāgy api,
One who abandons mother, father, or guru without valid cause is "one who abandons mother, father, or guru." Likewise, one who abandons wife and son too,
