apahatā iti tilān vikīrya ca samantataḥ |
yavārthās tu tilaiḥ kāryāḥ kuryād arghyādi pūrvavat ||
And having scattered sesame seeds all around with the verse 'Slain are [the Asuras]...',
the tasks that require barley are to be performed with sesame seeds; he should perform the offering of arghya and the rest as before.
