1.10.78

āhitāgnis tu juhuyād dakṣiṇāgnau samāhitaḥ |
anāhitāgnis tv aupasathe 'gnyabhāve dvije 'psu vā |
| iti |

'One who maintains the sacred fires, however, should offer with a concentrated mind into the southern fire;
but one who does not maintain the sacred fires [should offer] into the domestic fire; in the absence of fire, into the hands of a Brahmin, or into water.'
