madhunā payasā caiva sa devaṃs tarpayed dvijaḥ |
pitṝn madhughṛtābhyāṃ ca ṛco 'dhīte hi yo 'nvaham ||
With honey and with milk that twice-born satiates the gods, / and the ancestors with honey and clarified butter, who daily recites the Ṛgveda verses.
