bhartari jīvati mṛte vā yā cāpalyād anyaṃ puruṣaṃ nopagacchati seha loke vipulāṃ kīrtim avāpnoti | umayā ca saha krīḍati puṇyaprabhāvāt || 1.75 ||
She who, whether her husband be living or dead, does not go to another man out of fickleness, attains vast renown in this world, and revels together with Umā by the power of her merit.
