mātulasya sutām ūḍhvā mātṛgotrāṃ tathaiva ca |
samānapravarāṃ caiva gatvā cāndrāyaṇaṃ caret ||
"Having wed the daughter of one's maternal uncle, and likewise a woman of the mother's gotra, / and having approached a woman of the same pravara, one should perform the cāndrāyaṇa penance."
