brāhmo vivāha āhūya dīyate śaktyalaṃkṛtā |
tajjaḥ punāty ubhayataḥ puruṣān ekaviṃśatim ||
The Brāhma marriage is when [a maiden], adorned according to one's means, is given having invited [the groom]; / the son born of it purifies twenty-one men on both sides.
