yadi kuryāt samān aṃśān patnyaḥ kāryāḥ samāṃśikāḥ |
na dattaṃ strīdhanaṃ yāsāṃ bhartrā vā śvaśureṇa vā ||
If he makes the shares equal, the wives should be made equal sharers, / to whom strīdhana has not been given by the husband or by the father-in-law. || 2.115
