2.8.67

jyeṣṭha eva tu gṛhnīyāt pitryaṃ dhanam aśeṣataḥ |
śeṣās tam upajīveyur yathaiva pitaraṃ tathā ||
(MDh 9.105)

and having said: / "The eldest alone should take the paternal wealth in its entirety; / the remaining sons should live depending on him, just as on the father" (MDh 9.105),
