snānaṃ pretasya putrādyair vastrādyaiḥ pūjanaṃ tathā |
nagnadehaṃ dahen naiva kiṃcid deyaṃ parityajet ||
iti |

"The bathing of the deceased, as well as adorning with garments and the like, [is to be done] by sons and others;
one must not burn a naked body; one should leave behind something to be given."
