ādiṣṭī nodakaṃ kuryād ā vratasya samāpanāt |
samāpte tūdakaṃ kṛtvā trirātram aśucir bhavet ||
iti | (MDh 5.88)
'One under a vow shall not make a water [offering] until the completion of his vow; / but upon completion, having made the water [offering], he shall be impure for three nights.' / Thus. (MDh 5.88)
