āpadgataḥ sampragṛhṇan bhuñjāno vā yatas tataḥ |
na lipyetainasā vipro jvalanārkasamo hi saḥ ||
In distress, accepting [gifts] or eating from anyone whatsoever, / the Brahmin is not tainted by sin; for he is like fire and the sun.
