itas tataś ca svayam evāpasṛtyopajapati ced ubhayor guṇān apekṣī calabuddhir asaṃdheyaḥ//
(1) Now if the man has left both women of his own accord, he should not be resorted to, on account of the fickleness of nis mind, and his indifference to the excellences of both of them.
