yajñastapastathā dānaṃ sattvādyaistrividhaṃ smṛtam
āyuḥ sattvaṃ balārogyasukhāyānnantu sāttvikam
Sacrifice, ascetic austerity, and gift are considered threefold according to sattva and the rest. / Food that promotes longevity, mental strength, physical strength, health, and happiness is sāttvika.
