sītāyā haraṇaṃ pāpaṃ kṛtantvaṃ hi gururyataḥ /
ato gacchāmi yuddhāya rāmaṃ hanmi savānaram //
"The abduction of Sītā was a sin committed [by you]; yet because you are an elder, / therefore I go to battle, and I will slay Rāma together with the monkeys."
