pradakṣiṇāṃ vahiḥ kuryāt prāsādādiṣu(4) vā navā /
ādityāḥ pūrvataḥ sthāpyāḥ skandognirvāyugocare(5) //
One should make a circumambulatory path outside, or nine [shrines] around the temple and other structures.
The Ādityas should be placed in the east; Skanda, Agni, [and others] in the realm of Vāyu (north-west).
