dvātriṃśanmūrdhni vistarāt ṣoḍaśādhaḥ(5) sahasravān /
bhūyastasyāsya(6) śailo 'sau karṇikākārasaṃsthitaḥ //
Thirty-two [thousand yojanas] in width at the summit, and sixteen thousand below; / this mountain stands resembling the pericarp of that earth-lotus.
