aśvamedhaphalaṃ prāpya(3) brahmalokaṃ prayānti te /
kārttikyāmannadānācca nirmalo brahmalokabhāk(4) //
Obtaining the fruit of a horse-sacrifice, they proceed to the world of Brahmā; / and by gifting food on the full moon of Kārttika, [a man] becomes spotless and enjoys the world of Brahmā.
