darśanāt sparśanāt pānāttathā gaṅgetikīrtanāt /
punāti puṇyapuruṣān śataśītha sahasraśaḥ //

By seeing, touching, drinking, and likewise by calling out “Gaṅgā,” / she purifies virtuous men by hundreds and by thousands.
