marīcirbrahmaṇaḥ putrastāmuvāha taponvitāṃ(5) /
yathā hariḥ śriyā reme gauryā śambhus tathā tayā //
Marīci, the son of Brahmā, married her, who was endowed with ascetic austerity.
As Hari delighted with Śrī, and Śambhu with Gaurī, so did he with her.
