kāmadhenuṃ kalpataruṃ svarṇarūpyagṛhāṇi ca /
na yācayantu viprendrā alpānuktvā(1) dadau prabhuḥ //
the wish-granting cow, the wish-granting tree, and houses of gold and silver. / Saying, "Let the foremost of Brahmins not beg for little," the Lord gave [them].
