phalgutīrthe tīrtharāje karoti snānamādṛtaḥ /
pitṝṇāṃ brahmalokāptyai ātmano bhuktimuktaye //
Devoutly he bathes in Phalgu sacred ford, the king of sacred fords, / for the ancestors' attainment of the world of Brahmā and for his own worldly enjoyment and liberation.
